TQ2-12V
Panasonic TQ2-12V signal relay, 2 Form C (DPDT) at 12 V DC coil, 140 mW, with gold-clad contacts in a sealed 5 mm case.
The TQ2-12V is the 12 V DC version of the Panasonic TQ series signal relay, with the same 2 Form C (DPDT) contact arrangement and the same sealed low-profile case only about 5 mm high. It is the part to choose when the control circuit runs from a 12 V rail, which is common in industrial controls, telecommunications equipment and automotive-adjacent electronics, and it keeps the same low thermal electromotive force and gold-clad contacts that make the TQ series suitable for low-level signal switching. The coil takes about 140 mW at the nominal voltage and the relay is a single-side-stable type; one-coil and two-coil latching versions are available in the same series for applications that must hold state without holding power. The contact rating is 2 A at 30 V DC or 0.5 A at 125 V AC for a resistive load, and the sealed construction allows automatic board cleaning and protects the contacts in a humid or dusty environment. The TQ series is available with through-hole and surface-mount terminals, so the 12 V version fits the same board as the 5 V version when the supply changes. Every relay BeiLuo ships is factory-traceable and includes an import declaration, a certificate of origin and a RoHS compliance file, and mainstream ratings are held in stock.
FAE Professional Review
The TQ2-12V is the same reliable signal relay as the 5 V type, chosen for a 12 V rail. The design point to check is the coil current at 12 V and the drive transistor, because the coil power is the same but the current is lower than the 5 V version; the contact and the low thermal EMF behaviour are unchanged.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the TQ2-12V rated for?
It is a 2 Form C (DPDT) signal relay with a 12 V DC coil at about 140 mW, switching 2 A at 30 V DC or 0.5 A at 125 V AC for a resistive load, in a sealed 5 mm case.
Confirm the coil current and the drive transistor.
When should I use the 12 V version?
Choose the 12 V version when the control circuit runs from a 12 V rail, so the coil can be driven directly from the rail. The coil current is lower than the 5 V version for the same coil power, which eases the drive transistor.
The board and the contact behaviour are the same.
Is the relay genuine and in stock?
BeiLuo supplies factory-traceable relays through Panasonic authorized channels, with import declaration, certificate of origin and RoHS files on every order. Mainstream ratings are normally in stock.
